Earth Day is almost here! Now what?

Great news everybody - Earth Day is almost here!

Now what?

For an environmental crony like me, Earth Day is seminal moment - an opportunity to change the way our society thinks about the world we live in. How exciting! Now what the heck am I supposed to do?

After researching several options in the local area, my head was spinning. Would I help clean up the Mystic River? Would I plant trees at the Cooper Community Center?
So many options, yet I didn't feel any closer to having a plan.

As I pondered this multitude of choices, I was inspired by two simple projects being undertaken by Mug Project members - they are coming soon to this discussion page.

The jury is still out on what I'll actually do to celebrate Earth Day. What are YOU doing? Maybe I'll come join you...

Hey Dan - I've been thinking - we should hand out lots of Mug Project Stickers to people we see on Earth Day. Does any one else want to help us do this?

I can hand some out at school! If you want to leave some at City Feed that morning, I can go pick them up on my way to Boston College!
