Fellow Mug Project advocates,
It's been some time since we wrote, but we've been inspired to remind you about the importance of choosing to make simple changes in behavior like using a mug that will help reduce waste and protect our planet.
Earlier today, UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown stated that "climate change is the biggest threat to all our futures." Let's do our part to reduce waste and unnecessary energy consumption used the production of single serve beverage containers.
So tomorrow,…

Speech writing is in lots of ways similar writing a paper, apart from that there is no penalty for spelling and punctuation mistakes. You should not try to write words in your speech that you are not relaxed pronouncing or don't know the meaning of because it can lead to a less fluently delivered speech.
To be able to write a high-quality speech is a lot like making a good cake. Having the right elements is key for it's success. Every…

Well, sorry for the long absence, but i have been faiththfully using my red DD mug. I carry it with me, rain or shine.
At times, I see other people throwing away styrofoam cups, or taking multiple cups at McD;s. It is those times that I am most grateful for the mug project. it is a simple, but powerful, means of convincing people to change something which does have a direct impact on their life, my life, the earth's life.
let others scoff as to whether the earth is warming or cooling, whether on…

I'm a seltzer drinker -- more interesting than regular water, none of the fake stuff (or high fructose corn syrup) of soda. But I do feel bad about the quantity of plastic bottles I have to recycle -- and lugging the stuff home from the supermarket is no picnic either. I saw a thing on some morning talk show about a home soda maker that does carbonating for you, so I checked it out at sodaclub.com, and received my delivery yesterday.
This thing is fantastic.
It's a simple contraption that does…

Friends,
Today, I cheated on my mug. It made me think about my consumption behavior and I'm requesting you think about your's too.
Here is what happened...
I went to Finagle, ordered a salad with the combo option, I choose baked chips (I'm still kinda on my diet), and a diet coke. I sat down and dug into my Fiesta Grande salad and sipped on my diet coke when I realized what I had. I left my mug at my desk. Typically, I usually only use my mug for hot beverages. In my hand was paper cut, with…

Fellow Mug Projectors,
You'll notice a couple of changes to this site. We moved some stuff around and trimmed some of the sections down to help you find what you're looking for more easily. You'll also notice ads on the right hand side of the site. Previously, I had been personally paying for them to be removed about $27.00 a month and well honestly, It just got to be a little expensive. Fortunately, the site still has all of it's great functionality. In the coming weeks you be hearing from Dan…
